Job Description:

Identifies and monitors all community outreach activities provided by SJHS staff; centralize scheduling and documentation of offerings; collaborates with Public Relations in calendar development and publication. Develops processes to use "Community Benefit" software & related databases to document community programs; assists in the development of a plan to correlate community benefit efforts with patient volume and service measures throughout the SJHS Plans and implements a broad array of community outreach and educational activities in coordination with selected clinical services assuring inclusion of minority and underserved populations, as well as corporate entities. Plans and coordinates the successful execution of SJHS events, including, but not limited to the Women's Health conferences, health fairs, outreach activities, and corporate educational programs and screenings. Develops and markets a Speakers Bureau consisting of physicians and professional staff; assure support of speakers' materials, audio-visual equipment and related literature. Meets all required competencies for department, unit and/or hospital. Responsible for performing all other duties as assigned. Special Projects
