Job Description:

Paterson Alliance Program Manager

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Paterson Alliance Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of programs that support the Paterson Alliance mission. Primary duties include:

  • Organize monthly membership meetings that provide information, support and an opportunity for members to share and collaborate
  • Strengthening ongoing collaborations, such as the Paterson Early Childhood Coalition, Summer Apprenticeship Program, Full-Service Community Schools Coalition, Capacity-Building Training and Support, and Creating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as the foundation for all we do
  • Planning our annual Extra Mile Awards luncheon, to honor those who have gone above and beyond our expectations.
  • Devising new programs that support members of the Paterson Alliance
  • Defining sustainable goals for the organization
  • Develop budgets, plans and funding opportunities for programs
  • Evaluating and assessing the programs' strengths and weaknesses
  • Meeting with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals
  • Collaborating to improve strategies
  • Responsible for communications using Constant Contact, Google Groups and social media tools.

  • Fluent in a second language; Spanish, Arabic or Bengali

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in organizing and executing programs

 

Salary

The PA Program Manager will earn $40,000 - 50,000 per year, depending on candidate’s level of experience and education
