We envision a world where health is personal and health information respects the needs and realities of the people it services. Our mission in NJ is to develop a statewide campaign to reduce sugar-sweetened beverage (SSB) consumption.
The Public Good Projects (PGP) is an organization comprised of experts in media, marketing, and health. Through funding from the Nicholson Foundation, PGP is working with the Paterson community and broader State of New Jersey to improve residents’ health. Simple changes, like drinking less soda, can make big changes in the health of individuals and our communities. All campaign materials, including videos, social media messages, and written content will be made available to partners to share among their own networks. Messaging will focus on the health effects of SSB consumption and alternative drink options. The campaign will be evaluated through online surveys of knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors; as well as an analysis of online conversations and SSB sales data. We are excited to begin work on this important campaign, but can’t do it without your input and help, please join us today!
